Creativity

For me, design means capturing moods and feelings and transforming them into a concrete design.

Designing is a process of abstraction and order. But it is only through well-measured inconsistency that tension and liveliness arise in design.

Inspiration

I find inspiration in nature. Its abundance of manifestations, the change of seasons and the play of colour, light and shadow always provide me with new ideas.

Variety

The combination of sewing and embroidery techniques, analog and digital drawing and painting, and the use of laser cutters, ironing press, stamping and printing techniques allow me a wide range of expression.

Material

Collections of fabrics, yarns, paints, papers, brushes and artists’ supplies are the raw materials that make textile designs three-dimensional and let us experience them sensually.

Handcraft

Mastering as many craft techniques as possible, whether analog or digital, is the foundation on which creativity can flourish.

Old craft techniques and their combination with digital tools give rise to new interpretations of familiar optics.

Joy

I enjoy creating beauty with the help of the infinite variety of colours, shapes, materials and their possible combinations.

My greatest motivation is to awaken this joy in the people who look at and use the products I design!
